American Horror Story Ep 1.10 - Smoldering Children (MAJOR spoilers)

ok now that i got that out of the way..lets begin.

AHS writers would have explained this in the first season!!

I really wish that the Lost writers took notes on how to explain things quickly and clearly.  This last episode of American Horror Story was phenomenal in so many ways. The writing was PHENOMENAL and surprisingly the acting as well.  We learned ALOT this episode; the backstory of Larry and Constance, why Tate decided to go all Columbine on us, why Violet has not been going to school and Ben finally believing his wife after 10 years of marriage.  The episode's "twist" certainly changed the show dramatically. Cant wait to see whats to come.

This ep starts with Larry and Constance having a "family" dinner.  Larry is new to the family after killing his and allowing Constance to move back in with him into her old house.  Little does he know that Constance only loves the house..and not him.  Tate gets all Tate during his grace before dinner and the next thing we see is him doing lines and lines of coke and other drugs in his room.  He's had ENOUGH (JLO movie reference..anyone? anyone?) and decides to pack some guns and goto school like every good boy should.  However, before school he takes a quick stop over at Larry's work.  Larry apparently a successfull finance man (?) welcomes Tate and his 20 gallon tank of gasoline.  In a very disturbing scene, Tate throws the gas all over Larry and throws a lit match at him.  As Tate walks out, we see Larry burning in the background.. oh the irony!!!

Back at the Murder House, Ben gets a visit from a truancy officer telling him that Violet has not been in school for 17 days. Thats odd Ben thinks.. great parenting Ben.  During the conversation there are flies everywhere like something out of Amytville Horror.  Ben calls an exterminator and then decides to call boarding schools.. because an outbreak of flies is more important than your depressed daughter who doesn't goto school.  Tate gets an earful of the boarding school conversation and freaks.  After killing the exterminator with his own medicine for seeing what the flies were feeding on, he tells Violet that she needs to kill herself and live happily ever after with him.  Violet freaks and runs around like a dog chasing its tail trying to get out of the house.  But she cant.. she keeps leaving out the front and returning through the back entrance.. .pretty fucking creepy.  She cant leave.. but why??  Because she's fucking dead that's why!!! I definitely didnt see this coming. Tate explains that she overdosed the night she took all the pills.. this was about 5 eps back.  He tried to save her but couldnt.  She has been dead since. He didnt want to tell her so he thought the Romeo and Juliet thing would work.  You know for once i actually felt for good ol Tate.. he was trying to do whats right..

Meanwhile.. before all this shit went on with Violet.. Tate played pretend and decided to pay Ben a visit in the famous rubber suit.  There is an Eastern Promises (good movie if you havent seen it) fight scene with a naked Ben and a dude in a rubber suit.  It was almost romantic in some weird way.  As i said earlier.. the suit must make you stronger. Tate overpowers Ben and drugs him.. but just as Ben is going under he pulls the mask off of Tate revealing his face! Ben now knows who his other baby daddy is!!

What did we learn?....a lot

Lots of things going on this episode.. for 1 we saw a touching scene between Larry and his family.  It was very very creepy yet touching in some way.  The kids and the mom with their burnt faces was just really sad.  Larry is beginning to realize that he was wrong.  He is finally seeing things for what they are and this is why i believe he finally sees his family in this house.  But how the hell does this guy get in all the time!!!!

Larry kills his family and moves in Constance family. Constance orders Larry to kill Bo.. her deranged son...but why?  And what is wrong with the son.  Tate burns Larry and turns him into 2 face.  Larry starts to realize that he must pay for what he has done and confesses to killing Constance's lover Travis.  Constance that beyotch couldnt even make believe that she ever loved him.

In a bit of irony, Travis has found a new family being dead. The same thing he was running away from with Constance.

Ben has learned who the other baby daddy is.  So now 1 baby will be a cheating son of a bitch and the other one will have fangs and eat people?

What Tate's child aka the Devil may potentially grow up to be.

Violet is dead.. i am still on this. Here are some clues that I totally missed:

• We havent seen her leave the house since she went snooping around to see what happened to Tate and what he did.  After not being able to deal with it she takes a bunch of pills apparently killing herself
• Violet was able to see the ghosts before but after the pill incident Tate says she "evolved" and can now see the ghosts when or where she wants. 
• The almost sex scene... Tate cant get it up.. Perhaps stress of her not knowing he is a ghost...that just sounds funny..  After she kills herself they are having sex like bunnies.. do bunnies have sex alot??
• Violet doesnt go to school anymore and seems to be wearing the same clothes.. i think although i am not sure on the clothes. 
• Just before the reveal..she goes outside the house and yells for help.  A man is walking his dog and doesnt hear.. yet the dog does and freaks out barking at her.  

A few things..

What is going to happen after Ben wakes from his little sleep?  Where did Tate take him?  

A lot of irony in this episode.  Larry gets his body burned from Tate after burning down his family.  Travis finds a family in the afterlife which led him away from  Constance and where he is now.  Ben trusts his wife now after cheating on her with the world.  

No Hayden this episode.. this bitch is nonstop in every ep but this one.. where did she go?  

It seems like some ghosts know they are dead and some not.  Is there like a rule to this?

Violet and Tate are the 2 new kids on the block.. move over Edward and Bella.. bitcheesssss

Is the Harmon dog dead too and can show up whenever it wants because i havent seen that thing in weeks. You think that fucking dog would not shut the fuck up barking with all teh shit going in the house.  Either dead or not.. there is ALWAYS somebody in this house somewhere!

ahhh... the Harmon's dog is a ninja dog.. makes soo much sense now!

Excellent episode.. only a couple left.. cant wait to see where they go with this. I believe next week she gives birth.. oh fuck
