Few things..
- We did stop our fast forward session to listen to Lana Del Ray sing Video Games. Something about this song i love; not sure what it is. It is so hauntingly beautiful. Something about the way she sings it in like 6 different voices. She's sorta like the new white Nikki Minaj. Let's just hope for next years Grammies she is not hovering over the audience pretending she is possessed. Regardless, she sounded fantastic.
- Steven Tyler turned 87 yesterday. His 85yr old guitarist, Joe Perry, was there to play guitar for him. Nice.. as if Steven hasn't heard Joe play guitar for him for 60 years now.
- After listeing to Hollie sing i take it back.. it was a little pitchy and it was not as good as I originally thought it was. She is still my top choice, however, in the competition.
- Jimmy tells it like it is. He needs to a bigger part of the show. I love how he calls out Randy on everything including his outfits. Love this guy.
- Haylie, runner up from last season, came out to support her new single called "I Didn't Win American Idol But I Think I Should Have". My wife immediately said "She looks like she should be in Toddlers and Tiaras." Genius. I was mad because i didnt think of that!
- They replayed Colton's Piano Man and I screamed "HE IS NOT THE PIANO MAN! HE IS MY MAN!!!".

Erika got the boot. Based on this weeks performance, Heejun should have went home. Based on overall performances, Deandre should have went. However, Erika was a wildcard so America already didnt like her. Hey, at least she got a makeover out of all this!
